Stûv is based in Bois-de-Villers which is in the Namur province of Belgium and they design, produce and market all of their own products. All of the stoves, fires, inserts and fireplaces are designed with incredible detail and care, offering customer satisfaction in a variety of areas, including energy performance, durability and most of all enjoyment of the product itself.

Heritage
In the early 1980’s a industrial designer by the name of Gérard Pitance was looking to purchase a fire to heat a home he had recently decided to live in. Unfortunately he couldn’t find anything that met his requirements on the market so he decided to design a product that could fulfil his own criteria. After getting so much positive feedback from the people around him he decided to market the product he had produced -The very first Stûv was then born! The company went from strength to strength in the 90’s, starting with only 5 employees, this quickly grew to 50 and saw the launch of the Stûv 20, the first fire with a retractable front door. Between now and then has only seen the company improve, expand and develop - from launching new award winning products, opening Stûv Stores - dedicated shops to sell their products and now employing over 100 people we are really excited to see what Stûv has in store next!

One of the values Stûv are passionate about is sustainable development and clean energy. The company aim is to be able to combine heating and enjoyment of their fire and at the same time being able to reduce their environmental footprint. Stûv are manufactured and designs in Belgium - the heart of Europe. This means the company maintains its local roots for its industrial strategy and partnerships. Stûv’s passion to make the most of local potential and reduce its environmental footprint is still at the heart of what Stûv are trying to achieve. The quality of the products Stûv offer stems from the passion of innovation and the on-going commitment from employees to improve technical performance and design. Stûv products are all assembled in their own Belgium factory and are subject to systematic quality control procedures - The Stûv name guarantees a quality product that will last.
