Andy Gage is a 34 year old farmer from Haverhill, Suffolk by trade, however he also creates these beautiful sculptured fireballs. His wife and himself have a mixed farm of Poultry, Horses and Cropping which he took over when he turned 21. However, always looking for new things to do on the farm, he started making the fireballs back in 2013 when trying to find things to keep himself busy during the slower farm periods. Andy says he really enjoys communicating with customers and being able to turn their ideas into reality with his artwork. The Firepit Company is rapidly growing, however this doesn’t stop their attention to detail and quality. Their clients will always be at the forefront of their business as they move forward to creating new and exciting designs.

Over time, the surface of the fireballs develops a rich and deep patina, which is a really beautiful natural finish - this will change with the seasons. This colour will only develop on the surface of the fireball, meaning that the 6mm steel structure will remain in tact - giving you peace of mind that your purchase will give you years and years of pleasure. All of the designs are hand drawn on by the artists at The Firepit Company, meaning every single one is unique to the owner, allowing your own personal elements can be incorporated following a consultation with the artist directly. The ball is then cut completely by hand using a plasma cutter. The cutting process inevitably results in additions to the drawing, as the look of each individual ball springs to life. If you go for a custom design or one of the collection designs, you are sure to benefit from your purchase for years and years to come.
