The Firepit Company was born in 2013 with the creation of the original English Country Sphere, meticulously hand-drawn and plasma cut from a 6mm-thick steel ball on a farm straddling the Essex/Suffolk border. Each piece in their collection is still crafted with care on the same farm, upholding our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and sustainability. They proudly make all of their products in Britain, sourcing materials from local suppliers whenever possible.
Since that first fireball, The Firepit Company has expanded significantly, introducing innovative and original designs for outdoor spaces. Their products, including Sculptural Beacons, Wall Mounts, Fire Pit Bowls, and more, have gained recognition, with some designs reaching the final of the RHS Chelsea Garden Product of the Year three years running.

The FirePit Company's English County Sphere is a stunning work of art, capturing the essence of the British countryside in a beautifully handcrafted 6mm steel ball. At the centre of this intricate design is a majestic stag, accompanied by a doe and fawn. On the reverse, a couple shares a kiss amidst the garden surroundings. This scene is encircled by trees and various woodland and field animals, creating a captivating piece that comes to life when lit, making it a perfect centrepiece for any garden.
This firepit is a favourite for its rich depiction of English wildlife. It can be customised by removing the kissing couple upon request. Available in four sizes—650mm, 800mm, 900mm, and 1200mm—and two finishes, natural or heat resistant black paint, you can also choose between wood burning or eco fuego fire pit fuel for smokeless operation.
Enhance your fireball with an optional LED lighting kit, featuring a 20W colour-changing floodlight that fits effortlessly into the sphere. Remote-controlled, this lighting kit allows you to change the colour or sequence of lights, providing a mesmerising display even when the fire is not lit. Easy to remove, the unit requires a 240v supply, making your firepit a year-round attraction.
