Located in Towcester, this project was designed to transform an existing kitchen into a bright, contemporary space that feels both elegant and effortlessly practical. By introducing a carefully balanced palette of Limestone and Indigo Blue from the Mackintosh Sterling Painted range, we created a fresh, welcoming scheme that enhances the natural light while adding depth and character.
Although the overall footprint of the kitchen remained largely unchanged, the focus was on making the space work harder for modern family life. We reconfigured the cabinetry with enhanced storage solutions and intelligent internal accessories, ensuring every cupboard delivers maximum functionality while maintaining clean, uncluttered lines.
The work surfaces, finished in 20mm Königstone White Nova quartz, provide a crisp, durable finish that complements the painted cabinetry beautifully. An undermounted Franke Maris sink keeps the worktop uninterrupted, while the addition of a Quooker hot tap with Cube brings instant boiling, chilled and sparkling filtered water, combining everyday convenience with a streamlined aesthetic. Premium Miele appliances were seamlessly integrated throughout the design, offering exceptional performance while preserving the kitchen's refined appearance.
A defining feature of the room is the raised peninsula, which subtly separates the preparation area from the social space. This thoughtful design creates an inviting place for casual dining, entertaining or spending time together, making it a natural focal point within the home.
The finished kitchen is a perfect balance of timeless design and contemporary functionality, carefully considered in every detail to create a space that not only looks beautiful but enhances the way the family lives every day.
