This project
This project was all about creating a kitchen that combined functionality with a social, family-friendly layout. The client wanted to improve flow, increase storage, and remove the old peninsula, replacing it with a striking stand-alone island that would become the heart of the space.
We designed the kitchen in Artline Top Soft Graphite with Natural Vintage Oak accents, balancing contemporary sophistication with warmth. The island features a Neff hob, integrated with seating to make cooking a more social experience – perfect for family life and entertaining.
The daughter, currently studying food and baking at college, needed a practical yet inspiring space to experiment. With that in mind, the generous island doubles as a prep and showcase area, while high-performance Neff cooking appliances and a Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer provide all the reliability and capacity a keen cook could need.
For a clean, modern finish, we specified a 20mm AG Blanco Carrara worktop paired with a Franke 1.5 Box undermount sink. The addition of a Quooker Fusion Square stainless steel hot tap ensures both convenience and efficiency in daily use.
The result is a highly functional kitchen with improved flow and storage, a beautiful design aesthetic, and a central hub that encourages creativity, family connection, and sociable cooking.
