Our clients wanted to transform their open plan living and dining space into a more functional and contemporary environment. Their existing TV and sideboard no longer suited their lifestyle, and they were keen to introduce an additional source of heat without compromising the clean, minimalist feel of the room. A bespoke media wall proved to be the ideal solution.

From the initial design consultation, it was clear that the layout required careful planning. An existing wall mounted air conditioning unit meant the media wall couldn't be centred on the room as it traditionally would be. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, we designed the installation slightly off-centre, perfectly aligning it with the customer's corner sofa to create the optimum viewing angle from their primary seating position. The
result feels completely intentional and works beautifully within the space.

The bespoke chimney breast incorporates a large-format electric fire beneath a recessed television and soundbar, creating a striking focal point that delivers both ambience and practical warmth throughout the cooler months. An additional drawer unit was seamlessly integrated into the base cabinetry, providing valuable hidden storage while maintaining the sleek, handleless appearance.

Prior to installation, the existing loft hatch also required relocating to allow the media wall to be positioned exactly where it was needed. By coordinating these preparatory works alongside the installation, we ensured a smooth project from start to finish.

The finished media wall provides the family with a stylish entertainment hub, practical storage, and the inviting atmosphere of a realistic electric fire all thoughtfully designed around the unique characteristics of their home.

We have known about Bells for many years and have made many purchases including a Clearview wood burning stove.

 We decided to buy an electric fire and we chose Bells for this project because of their excellent reputation.  We made an appointment to view the various options and meet Richard who kindly visited our home. 

After discussing our project and another visit to the showroom we decided that a media wall would suit our needs.  Richard is very knowledgeable and we used his design expertise. 

 A design was agreed upon that met our brief, in fact, it was beyond our initial expectation.

 Our media wall looks fantastic, it suits the room and enhances its appearance.  The quality of the unit and style add a luxurious feel to our family room. 

 The new unit houses an updated television, storage drawers which have given us much needed extra storage space, and the electric fire has brought warmth and cosiness to the room.
