Our clients recently moved into a new home, downsizing from their previous property. The existing kitchen felt cramped and lacked a functional layout, especially since they dreamed of installing a large Lacanche range cooker.

To create the space they needed, we suggested blocking up a redundant doorway, which transformed the kitchen’s flow and unlocked ample room for generous storage and expansive worktop space.

The final design featured Mackintosh Sterling Painted Ivory cabinetry, giving the kitchen a timeless, elegant look. We integrated high-quality appliances, including a Neff fridge and freezer and a Falcon cooker hood, perfectly complementing the customers’ own Lacanche range. The striking 30mm AG Quartz worktops in Nero Starlight added both durability and a touch of luxury, while the Franke Maris black fragranite sink paired beautifully with the Quooker Flex black boiling water tap, completing the modern, functional aesthetic.

The result is a spacious, practical, and visually stunning kitchen that meets every need of our clients’ new lifestyle in their downsized home.
