This project

For this project, our client wanted a warm and welcoming kitchen that felt timeless, practical, and full of character. We designed the space using Mackintosh furniture in the selected door style of Sovereign, painted in Cashmere, a soft neutral that complements the medium oak carcases beautifully. The combination creates a gentle contrast and enhances the kitchen’s classic shaker aesthetic.
The client wished to retain many of their existing appliances, introducing only a new Neff double oven to complete the look. We paired this with a Franke sink and tap, chosen for their quality and understated design, ensuring every detail felt cohesive.
A key part of the brief was functionality, our client loves baking and wanted ample space for preparing homemade bread. We designed a worktop-height island that provides both generous prep space and comfortable seating, making it a true centrepiece for everyday cooking and family life.
The wood-effect laminate worktop with matching upstands complements the surrounding oak beams, tying the room together and reinforcing its relaxed, country feel. A bespoke corner pantry adds smart storage and easy access to baking essentials, helping to keep the space organised and efficient.
The finished kitchen balances simplicity with warmth,  a classic shaker design, tailored perfectly to the client’s lifestyle and love of home baking.
