This project

For this project, our client wanted to refresh and enhance their existing kitchen while making the most of the space available. We worked with the original Nicholas Bell in-frame furniture, giving it a new lease of life with a fresh coat of paint in Conival (matched to Little Greene’s Book Room Green in Benjamin Moore Scuff-X). This soft yet characterful shade transformed the cabinetry, creating a warm and timeless look.
To update the functionality of the space, we introduced a Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer alongside additional larder storage, seamlessly blending new elements into the established layout. In the adjoining dining area, we created a bespoke wine cooler and bar zone, making the room more sociable and practical for entertaining.
The existing Spekva oak worktops in 30mm grey-oiled finish were retained, their rich natural grain adding warmth and continuity to the refreshed scheme. We also kept the original sink and tap, which sit beautifully against the updated palette. Finally, new flooring was installed to complete the look, giving the entire kitchen a renewed sense of flow and harmony.
The result is a thoughtfully updated kitchen that respects the original craftsmanship while introducing new functionality and style tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
