The customer desired a traditional country-style kitchen that harmonized with the rest of the property. The open-plan design needed to seamlessly connect with the lounge and dining area. Ample storage was essential, along with an island featuring seating that enhanced the workflow. We also successfully incorporated a small bar area for entertaining guests.

The house boasts beautiful features that the customer wished to preserve and highlight, so we designed built-in seating in the window spaces with concealed storage. The kitchen cabinets are from Mackintosh Manor House, finished in a rich Botanical Green. It includes Neff cooking appliances, complemented by Caesarstone Quartz worktops in Super White, 30mm oak, and a Quooker Flex tap for added convenience.

“Having the computer design really helped us to visualise the new kitchen. The original design that Claire came up with was a little modern for our tastes, but she took on board our comments and made adjustments until we were happy. Claire came up with some elements that we would never have thought possible, like moving the sink from the island to the wall side. This move made such a difference to the amount of useable space on our island.

We have so much more storage, but at the same time because the layout is better designed it doesn’t feel overcrowded or like we have too many cupboards. We love having people over so that we can show off our lovely kitchen.

The installation guys were great, friendly and tidy. I was very surprised at how little dust infiltrated into the rest of the house. We were also impressed with the custom built shelves and bench seating”
