This project
This media wall project was designed to become a stylish and functional feature within an open-plan kitchen diner, seamlessly tying together the cooking, dining, and relaxation areas of the space. The client wanted a design that would sit neatly between two existing walls, giving a perfectly built-in appearance while maintaining a sense of openness and flow throughout the room.
The layout centres around the TV and an elegant electric fire, framed by a combination of cupboards, shelves, and drawers to balance storage and display. This configuration provides ample space for media equipment and decorative pieces while keeping the overall look clean and uncluttered.
From the start, the client expressed a clear preference for lighter tones that would harmonise with their existing kitchen cabinetry, worktops, and tiled flooring. Careful attention was paid to colour selection and finish, ensuring the new installation blended effortlessly with the surrounding materials and enhanced the natural light within the room.
Every detail was considered to ensure the proportions, textures, and finishes complemented the contemporary style of the home while delivering everyday practicality. The finished design achieves a perfect balance — a bright, cohesive feature wall that adds warmth and sophistication to the open-plan space, creating a true focal point that ties the entire room together both visually and functionally.
