Lets Celebrate a part of Northampton’s Heritage
Bell of Northampton has been a beloved staple of the town’s retail scene for an impressive 125 years. To celebrate their long-standing presence and their continuing commitment to quality and excellence, they held a design competition to create a special anniversary logo. The winner, Melissa Bratton, a student of interior architecture at the University of Northampton, created an exquisite design rich with heritage. Her use of the original Bell logo and her incorporation of modern design elements have perfectly captured the essence of the Bell brand.
Melissa’s winning entry is a beautiful new logo that celebrates Bell of Northampton’s unique history and strong association with the town. Melissa was inspired by the original Bell logo and took this iconic logo and brought it to life with her own design elements, including a contemporary gold centrepiece that brings a fresh new energy to the logo’s classic image.
Melissa was able to craft a design that felt authentic and true to the brand, all while bringing her own unique flair and creativity to the work. She considered the company’s current brand colours, blending them seamlessly into her design to create a fresh, vibrant image that feels both familiar and brand new.
Bell of Northampton has been a beloved part of the town’s retail landscape for over a century, and their impressive legacy of quality, selection, and innovation is something to celebrate. With Melissa’s stunning new anniversary logo, the brand has a powerful new symbol that perfectly captures everything that makes them unique. Melissa’s design is a beautiful work of art that rightly deserves to be celebrated.
Congratulations to Melissa and the Bell of Northampton team.
