Our concept is to make smart technology accessible to everyone.

York Smart Homes was founded in 2012 by Managing Director Phil York. Phil is proficient in CAD design and initially trained as an electrician. His passion for technology in homes created the path for where the company strives today offering a smart home for everyone with Control4.

We offer packages of all sizes starting from basic installation of speakers, cameras, and lighting, up to complete bespoke smart homes with a full turnkey solution. This removes any worry you may have about the overall project. As standard we provide full CAD drawings to ensure you can really visualise the end result. We can also offer a virtual tour of your final design to ensure complete peace of mind.

All aspects of the project are carried out in house by our team to keep a high-quality service throughout. This includes but is not limited to all carpentry and upholstery work. Whether you are looking to add smart technology to your existing home or business, or you are at the building design stage, we can work with you and your contractors to ensure the process is hassle free with detailed drawing, cable schedules and all 1st fix materials delivered to site.

York Smart Homes are Control4 certified with National and European coverage. As a registered partner to control4, you will receive full manufacturer warranty on your existing equipment even if we didn’t initially fit it. With a variety of service packages available, we really do have you covered.
