Heritage
A British company, still based in Exeter where they were first established in 1981, Stovax is now one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of stoves, fireplaces, and fires, with exports to countries worldwide. The company was created with the intention to design, manufacture and distribute wood burning stoves and fireside accessories but they have grown far beyond this! By 1988, they had begun the manufacture of gas-fired versions of Stovax stoves and a separate company, Gazco Ltd, was formed to develop and produce them. Today, as sister companies, Stovax and Gazco continue to work very closely together to produce their distinctive ranges of wood burning, multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves and fires.

With the depletion of fossil fuels and the rising costs of utilities, wood is already being accepted as an economic, renewable and virtually carbon neutral energy source.
