Please note that the online team at Bell will be closed longer than usual over the Holiday period. We are closed from Wednesday 23rd December and will reopen on Monday 4th January 2021. Stock levels and lead times

As you are all well aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to us all a different way of life. Times are a little tougher and now more than ever, we must work together for everyone’s safety and ongoing health.
An unexpected outcome with COVID is a shortfall of stock across many, if not all, manufacturers and especially those that were forced to close their doors and temporarily ceased manufacturing their products for 4-6 months over spring / summer. This is now being felt with delays for orders, stock arrival and manufacturing of items across several industries. Here at Bell we recommend the following considerations when placing an order.

  1. Do not book a fitter to perform works on a product you have not yet received. – There have been instances of manufacturing being delayed with no notice by up to 3 weeks due to COVID outbreaks in factories. These factories must close for a period of time while it is disinfected. These situations are unfortunate, unexpected and beyond our control. Bell will endeavour to update any customers affected by such instances when we receive news of any such delays.
  2. As per Bells terms & conditions, if a fitter is booked and your order does not arrive due to any delay beyond the control of Bell, including but not limited to faulty items or factory delays due to item availability, Bell are not responsible for any cost incurred.
  3. Bell and its suppliers are now under more pressure to perform than ever with a hugely increased order intake due to the COVID pandemic. We are also experiencing occasional staff absences due to the need to follow self-isolating protocols. As such, response times to emails or phone calls can be longer than normal. We will always endeavour to call or email a response within 1 working day, however this can be longer depending on the complexity of the query and the speed in which we receive information from suppliers. It would help us improve communication speeds if you can please refrain from chasing emails or phone calls within a 48 hour period to allow us time to get the correct solution for you.

We appreciate the frustrations that the year 2020 has brought each and every one of us but ask that you remain patient as we work to fulfil your order as fast as we can.
